Tattoo Flash Sheets
Inspired by my love for tattoos and tattoo culture, I designed four separate flash sheets each representing a different season Summer, Winter, Fall, and Spring. I wanted to combine animals and plants that resonated or grew during those seasons along with an added touch of my own personal style into it. I also tried to correlate each color scheme to each season. The snake sheet was for summer, the rat sheet was for fall, the bird sheet was for winter, and the bunny sheet was for spring. I drew all of these in Procreate.
As you can see by my progress videos, I would test out color themes for each flash sheet along with figuring out best placement to make the entire sheet balanced and cohesive. I also use reference images to make sure the anatomy is correct along with making sure that I am correctly doing the neo-traditional style.
